Off season fitness sessions

We are pleased to announce that as part of our ongoing commitment to referee development we have organised some pre season fitness sessions . It is intended to be an off season benefit and to enable new potential referees to engage with society members.

 

These sessions will be funded by the society for your personal benefit. They will be 2 weekly sessions at Reading Rugby Club.commencing Thursday 12th June and will be fortnightly for 6 sessions

 

The session will run from 19.45 to 20.45 with opportunity for a social afterwards and an opportunity to interact with the trainer. ┬áIt will include a pre event “nutritional questionaire” and a fitness test on session 1 and a re test on session 6 to allow you to assess any improvement.

 

The sessions will be tailored to the needs of a referee at all levels.

 

These sessions are purely for your own individual benefit and will not be used as a basis for assessment or continual development within the society. It is hoped that if there is sufficient interest we will continue this into the season. We are using James from Progressive Fitness in Reading for these sessions, he is particularly aware of our specific and general requirements. Please also note this will not be an expensable event
